How to Make Elderberry Syrup

Ingredients:

1. ½ cup Nature’s Greatest Dried Elderberries
2. 2 cups water
3. 1 cinnamon stick
4. ¼ - ½ tsp ground ginger
5. ½ cup honey

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients except the honey to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the liquid has reduced by about half.
3. Strain the berries and cinnamon from the mixture, pressing onto the berries with a spoon to release any excess liquid.
4. Let cool from hot to warm, then whisk in the honey until smooth.
